;_;

So sad… the pocket gremlin hit me again today… my Mametchi on P1 is gone. I went to check on him and I had a complete blank screen 😦 I reset and it was fine (egg came up), but I really thought my tamagotchi would survive a pocket bashing a little more than my Nano. Apparently not. Loose skirt pocket is fatal to tamas.
On a side note, I noticed that some Japanese Angelgotchi have the unique icons (buttwings included), and some have just the basic P1/P2 icons (with angelgotchi functions). I was a bit disappointed my new pink angel had the basic ones and not the unique ones… now I’m looking for the blue one and checking the previews carefully… x.x

Once again not too many pics today because they all go to bed by the time I settle down, but here’s a few of my P’s hanging out together in concert 🙂

Mametchi marries, and more…

First of all, Mametchi and Coffretchi finished their puzzle pieces 😀

Then I took Mametchi for a walk to a “secret base”, which apparently has something to do with collecting bits of a rocket blueprint over time with past Tamatown characters…. (???)

And then… Mametchi kinda got married.

Ignore the writing in the background…. I was studying…. >.>

So then…. baby was had. And once again. A boy. Damn it why? So many boys. (I married him off in the hopes of getting another girl >_<)

Whelp… I will just have to care for this one now.

In other news! I got Mametchi for the first time ever on my P1! Always tried to get him as a kid but he requires perfect care and I always missed something. Pretty happy 🙂

And here’s my family at current:

😍

Back home!

And here’s the latest.

Yesterday my P’s grew into Coffretchi and Mametchi like I’d hoped 🙂

I will update these guys more soon 🙂

Osu & Mesu grew into Yuuhotchi and Hikotchi – I missed pics of these and now they’re asleep, since I’ve been travelling. I’ll mate them tomorrow probably. My P1 still hasn’t got to the adult stage and although I finally managed to fully discipline him today, I doubt I’ll get Mametchi since the sneaky bugger did a ninja poo before bed last night and I didn’t manage to clean it in time 😦

And because I’m feeling a bit down I just started my Family Iroiro (v5, my first of the Plus/Connection range):

I also ordered some hand made tama clay figures, straps and beads to put together for my P’s – and my new 4U+ on the way which I also ordered yesterday 🙂 (before I got hit with a rather large expense and now I won’t be buying for a while 😦 )

[Edit] Haha my Osu & Mesu are still teens, I thought they were adults already. I’m losing the plot x.X

What a noob

So, um. I did a few silly things today.

Let’s start with my vintages. Mummy and Daddy Mesu/Osu got up and left overnight, as I’d heard they do, and left their little ones sleeping soundly with the lights on. They must have known they’d been abandoned, however. All of their hearts were empty. It’s quite tragic, really… My heart ached for pixels for a moment. Left in the middle of the night by their parents at only 2 days old. I guess at least they left them in trusted hands.

So in the morning I found myself with two little egglets needing much love and care, as well as my loveable blob (P1) also 2 days old, who is now fully disciplined until he grows. I sent off Raitotchi and Kuchipatchi on my P’s to work in the morning as planned, and then spent a little time with them before I was going to send them off to school. At least, that’s what I had in mind.

Rai and Kuchi had a full belly, were content, had a bit of a game and a walk outside, and then I decided to check a few other functions. Oh, the matchmaking option seems to be available at this time of day. Let’s see if I can set them up on a date with a lovely lady tama.

They were elaborately presented with 3 cute possible matches, and then given the choice. I picked the middle one for both, and off they went. Let me tell you, there was not much conversation. My little guys went straight to 2nd base within seconds – hearts and kisses galore – and then an excited display of animations and fireworks that I could only imagine was third base. And then – bam, they’re both back in their living rooms with a little tacker each (mummy’s motto must be “eats, roots and leaves”), rolling around and playing with their new bubby in a rather adorable fatherly way.

And then they were gone and I was left with two baby boys.

I rather unexpectedly found myself with two MORE baby egglets to care for, and I was about to leave the house, so this was somewhat inconvenient. Secondly, I was annoyed that I yet again ended up with two male tamas.

So, uh, I reset one and started a girl.

Anyway, so now I’ve got a new family of tamas. The other silly thing was my lack of knowledge about how the P’s pierces work. I’d had them all the way through to adults and not even realised I needed to download the data from the pierces through the connection options… Why can’t there be just one simple guide for all this stuff instead of sifting through dozens of forum threads… *to-do list*.

No pictures today, it all happened kinda fast and they’re all asleep now  🙂

P’s Buddies

Sorry I haven’t been able to make big updates lately, it’s a bit tedious on my phone and very time-consuming. I’m considering making a page on my blog in the near future that includes some consolidated resources and a quick reference guide for the P’s – which I’ll add to as I go. I find myself jumping all over the web with 500 tabs open trying to translate and figure things out, and it’s really inconvenient. Plus not everything is explained for those who never played the connection/plus tamas – a lot of it is assumed knowledge from previous gen functions. I didn’t have all those  so I keep having to dig deeper.

Anyway, a short update again – I’ve finished all 3 puzzle pieces for both my Raitotchi and my Kuchipatchi. I ended up restarting my P1 yesterday to try for mametchi again after I got Masktchi (was not impressed, didn’t realise I’d made that many miss-cares to not even get Ginjirotchi) and my mummy and daddy mess/osu are still with their babies until tonight. For now, here’s some pictures of my P’s catching up and hanging out together 🙂

Oh, P’s.

love these.

This is a huge jump for me – going straight from the vintage tamas to these wonderful little backlit, full colour LCD devices. It’s an accumulated development of all the fun little features I skipped on the Connections/Plus, with the addition of many more features and some newer technology. I think I picked the right “Modern” tamas to start with. Or finish with, if I’m not convinced the 4U+ is worth getting besides it looking really nice.

I love the character movement, animations and detail. The backgrounds. The cute sounds. The personalisation. As soon as I discovered the Paint Room, my fresh little toddlers got a bit of a colour refresh. It might be a tad shallow (and accidental), but it’s a feature I like.

P’s, and probably newer gens overall, certainly like to poop a lot. After my vintage tamas, I was wondering if my new P’s had picked up a bad case of gastro as a baby with the excessive pooping and getting sick. It settled, but toddlers/child stage still poops a lot. Actually is it a child or is it a teen already? Not really familiar with these growth charts.

Without further ado, and so I can get some sleep before my flight, here’s some pics:
